The fixed Life-tales of the Buddha in the stone, the superiority through which they have been fixed in the walls of the stone, the enormous figure of the Buddha, is all merit admiring and unforgettable and depict the information and cleverness of individuals times.
The Pipal tree beneath which the Buddha manages explanation, although not in the similar outline as subsisted throughout those times, although a tree grown-up on or after the developing is absolutely a rest to find a few seconds to deliberate for the spiritual people.

Many were introduced via the Greek colonies of southern Italy. Many also had their roots in old religions of the Etruscans or Latin tribes.

Often the the old Etruscan or Latin name survived but the deity over time became to be seen as the Greek god of equivalent or similar nature. And so it is that the Greek and Roman pantheon look very similar, but for different names.

An example of such mixed origins is the goddess Diana to whom the Roman king Servius Tullius built the temple on the Aventine Hill. Essentially she was an old Latin goddess from the earliest of times.

Before Servius Tullius moved the center of her worship to Rome, it was based at Aricia.
There in Aricia it was always a runaway slave who would act as her priest. He would win the right to hold office by killing his predecessor. To challenge him to a fight he would though first have to manage to break off a branch of a particular sacred tree; a tree on which the current priest naturally would keep a close eye. From such obscure beginnings Diana was moved to Rome, where she then gradually became identified with the Greek goddess Artemis.

It could even occur that a deity was worshipped, for reasons no-one really could remember. This is significant because olive oil is considerably rich in monounsaturated fats, most notably oleic acid.

In the United States, producers of olive oil may place the following health claim on product labels:

Limited and not conclusive scientific evidence suggests that eating about 2 tbsp. (23 g) of olive oil daily may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease due to the monounsaturated fat in olive oil. To achieve this possible benefit, olive oil is to replace a similar amount of saturated fat and not increase the total number of calories you eat in a day.

This decision was announced November 1, 2004, by the Food and Drug Administration after application was made to the FDA by producers. Similar labels are permitted for foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as walnuts and hemp seed.

There is a large body of clinical data to show that consumption of olive oil can provide heart health benefits such as favourable effects on cholesterol regulation and LDL cholesterol oxidation, and that it exerts antiinflamatory, antithrombotic, antihypertensive as well as vasodilatory effects both in animals and in humans.

But some clinical evidence suggests that it is olive oil's phenolic content, rather than its fatty acid profile, that is responsible for at least some of its cardioprotective benefits. For example, a clinical trial published in 2005 compared the effects of different types of olive oil on arterial elasticity. Test subjects were given a serving of 60 g of white bread and 40 ml of olive oil each morning for two consecutive days. The study was conducted in two stages. During the first stage, the subjects received polyphenol-rich oil (extra virgin oil contains the highest amount of polyphenol antioxidants). During the second phase, they received oil with only one fifth the phenolic content. The elasticity of the arterial walls of each subject was measured using a pressure sleeve and a Doppler laser. It was discovered that after the subjects had consumed olive oil high in polyphenol antioxidants, they exhibited increased arterial elasticity, while after the consumption of olive oil containing fewer polyphenols, they displayed no significant change in arterial elasticity. It is theorized that, in the long term, increased elasticity of arterial walls reduces vascular stress and consequentially the risk of two common causes of death—heart attacks and stroke. This could, at least in part, explain the lower incidence of both diseases in regions where olive oil and olives are consumed on a daily basis.

Another health benefit of olive oil seems to be its property to displace omega-6 fatty acids, while not having any impact on omega-3 fatty acids. This way, olive oil helps to build a more healthy balance between omega-6 fats and omega-3 fats.[citation needed]

Unlike the high amount of animal fats typical to the American diet, olive oil lowers cholesterol levels in the blood. It is also known to lower blood sugar levels and blood pressure.

Olive oil contains the monounsaturated fatty acid oleic acid, antioxidants such as vitamin E and carotenoids, and oleuropein, a chemical that prevents the oxidation of LDL particles. It is these properties that are thought to contribute to the health benefits of olive oil.[citation needed]

As they are the least processed forms of olive oil, extra virgin or virgin olive oil have more monounsaturated fatty acids than other olive oil. These types also contain more polyphenols, leading to a healthier heart and lower "bad" cholesterol.

Preliminary research indicates that olive oil could possibly be a chemopreventive agent for peptic ulcer or gastric cancer, but confirmation requires further in vivo study. Olive oil was also found to reduce oxidative damage to DNA and RNA, which may be a factor in preventing cancer.

A high consumption of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are found in most types of vegetable oil including olive oil, may increase the likelihood that postmenopausal women may develop breast cancer. A similar effect was observed on prostate cancer. Other analysis suggested an inverse association between total polyunsaturated fatty acids and breast cancer risk.

Unsaturated oils, such as olive oil, have a short shelf life and are prone to becoming rancid from oxidation, which will produce toxic byproducts and a bitter taste. Unsaturated oils should be protected from heat and light, and avoid using oil that shows signs of spoilage.
Spiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-86246572793687526712010-06-28T18:49:00.000-07:002010-07-20T21:51:53.536-07:00Marilyn Monroe Daeth and aftermathMarilyn Monroe (June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962), born Norma Jeane Mortenson, but baptized Norma Jeane Baker, was an American actress, singer and model. Her early film appearances were minor, but her performances in The Asphalt Jungle and All About Eve (both 1950) were critically acclaimed. At the subsequent autopsy, eight milligram percent of Chloral Hydrate and 4.5 milligram percent of Nembutal were found in her system, and Dr. Thomas Noguchi of the Los Angeles County Coroners office recorded cause of death as "acute barbiturate poisoning," resulting from a "probable suicide". Many theories, including murder, circulated about the circumstances of her death and the timeline after the body was found. Each state or territory government provides the funding and regulates the public and private schools with its governing area, The federal government funds the universities, but these set their own curriculum. Generally, education in Australia follows the three-tier model which includes primary education (primary schools), followed by secondary education (secondary schools/high schools) and tertiary education (universities and/or TAFE Colleges).

The Programme for International Student Assessment for 2006 ranks the Australian education system as 6th on a worldwide scale for Reading, 8th for Science and 13th for Mathematics. The Education Index, published with the UN's Human Development Index in 2008, based on data from 2006, lists Australia as 0.993, amongst the highest in the world, tied for first with Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.

Australian in Science:Australian science fiction grew in 1960s and became a notable field around 1980s. Many Australian sf writers are writing for the international market.

David G. Hartwell noted that while there is perhaps "nothing essentially Australian about Australian science-fiction", many Australian science-fiction (and fantasy and horror) writers are in fact international English language writers, and their work is commonly published worldwide. This is further explainable by the fact that Australian inner market is small (with Australian population being around 21 million), and sales abroad are crucial to most Australian writers.

Australian in Sports: Sport in Australia is popular and widespread. Testament to this is the level of achievement in the Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games as well as other international sporting events in comparison to the population of the country, particularly in the areas of water sports and team sports. The climate and economy provide ideal conditions for Australians to participate and watch sports.

In 2000-01, total government funding for sport and recreation activities was $2,124.2 million (AU$). Of this, the Commonwealth Government contributed $19.89 million (9%), state and territory governments contributed $875.2 million (41%) and local governments provided $1,050.1 million (49%). The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is the federal government body responsible for distributing funds and providing strategic guidance for sporting activity in Australia and operates the Australian Institute of Sport. Each state and territory in Australia also have agencies responsible for sport and recreation policy. Each state and territory also operation their own institutes and academies of sport.

Australian in Technology: The Australian Technology Network (ATN) is a network of five universities from each mainland state of Australia, with a heritage of working closely with industry. The ATN was originally founded in 1975 as the "Directors of Central Institutes of Technology (DOCIT)", and later revived in 1999 in its present form.

ATN universities offer applied courses to students who are ready to enter their chosen professions. They teach around 180,000 students, or almost 20% of Australia’s student population. All ATN member universities are featured in the Times Higher Education Supplement's "Top 200 Universities of the World" listing, and the network is considered to be the "technology-focused" equivalent of Australia's "Group of Eight" universities.

Developed Australia: The Australian Council For International Development (ACFID) is an independent national association of Australian non-government organisations (NGOs) working in the field of international aid and development.

ACFID was formerly known as ACFOA (The Australian Council For Overseas Aid). ACFID is based in Canberra, Australia.

The ACFID Code of Conduct is a voluntary, self-regulatory industry Code for international development organisations. Launched in 1998 by Governor General Sir William Deane, it represents a commitment by its signatories to high standards of integrity and accuontability.

The ACFID Code of Conduct defines the standards of best practice for international development organisations in the fields of organisational integrity, governance, communication with the public, finances and personnel and management practices.

Adult Halloween Costumes

Spiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-27192592928899135122010-06-17T15:39:00.000-07:002010-07-20T21:52:32.991-07:00Web without Google
Google is now the most dominant search tool on the web, setting the standards that others try to follow and better, as yet unsuccessfully. Google, Inc. was established on September 7, 1998. The founders hired Craig Silverstein - who was later to become Director of Technology - as their first employee, and started the business in a friend's garage.
Google was still in an alpha stage, with an index of just 25 million pages, but it was handling 10,000 search queries every day. There has been a series of announcements of new products, including the email service Gmail, the impressive Google Earth product, Google Talk to compete in the growing VoIP market, Google Base and Google Book Search, which is part of its ambitious project to make the content of thousands of books searchable online

Google has become synonymous with search and has entered the dictionary as a verb - 'to google' something. much rumored Microsoft's Project Pink phones saw day light officially at an event held at San Francisco. Microsoft has introduced new KIN handsets which are based on Windows Phone and designed specifically for social media enthusiasts. Tagging these new touchscreen handsets as Windows Phone, the new KIN One and KIN Two, these are same two Pink phones which were spotted last year in September. KIN One is a the Turtle Pink phone while KIN Two is the Pure model. KIN phones will be available exclusively from Verizon Wireless in the U.S. beginning in May and will be available through Vodafone in Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom in Autumn.

One interesting feature which both phones share is the Zune media player embedded in the core supporting Zune music as well as video. No support for Zune gaming yet, but we can expect it to arrive later. These phones have built-in FM radio but it's not the HD radio like the one in Zune HD. For Mac users, Microsoft will offer special application to load music from Mac systems (no it's not a Mac version of Zune software).

They are a prominent modern member of the subfamily Bovinae, are the most widespread species of the genus Bos, and are most commonly classified collectively as Bos primigenius. Cattle are raised as livestock for meat (beef and veal), as dairy animals for milk and other dairy products, and as draft animals (pulling carts, plows and the like). Other products include leather and dung for manure or fuel. In some countries, such as India, cattle are sacred. It is estimated that there are 1.3 billion cattle in the world today. There are two major effects. First, wind causes small particles to be lifted and so moved to another region. This is called deflation. Second, these suspended particles may impact on solid objects causing erosion by abrasion (ecological succession).

Wind erosion generally occurs in areas with small or no vegetation, often in areas where there is inadequate rainfall to hold up vegetation. An example is the formation of sand dunes, on a beach or in a desert. Windbreaks (such as big trees and bushes) are frequently planted by farmers to decrease wind erosion.

Adult Halloween CostumesSpiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-58075289154835953452008-11-24T20:50:00.000-08:002010-07-20T21:55:13.734-07:00Earth's rotation
Earth's rotation period relative to the Sun—it’s denote solar day—is 86,400 seconds of mean solar time. Each of these seconds is slightly longer than an SI second since Earth's solar day is now slightly longer than it was during the 19th century due to tidal acceleration.

Earth's rotation period relative to the fixed stars, called its stellar day by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS), is 86164.098903691 seconds of mean solar time (UT1), or 23h 56m 4.098903691s. Earth's rotation period relative to the processing or moving mean vernal equinox, misnamed its sidereal day, is 86164.09053083288 seconds of mean solar time (UT1) (23h 56m 4.09053083288s).Thus the sidereal day is shorter than the stellar day by about 8.4 ms. The length of the mean solar day in SI seconds is obtainable from the IERS for the periods 1623–2005 and 1962–2005.

Apart from meteors within the atmosphere and low-orbiting satellites, the main obvious motion of space bodies in the Earth's sky is to the west at a rate of 15°/h = 15'/min. This is equal to an apparent diameter of the Sun or Moon every two minutes; the apparent sizes of the Sun and the Moon are approximately the same.

Adult Halloween CostumesSpiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-56884865128677794802008-05-11T23:15:00.001-07:002010-07-20T21:55:29.789-07:00What do mean by Nomenclature and roads?
The nomenclature used for various types of highways like freeway, expressway, motorway and autobahn; differ between countries or even regions within a country. In several places a highway is a particular type of major road that is distinct from freeway or expressway; in other places the terms could overlap. In law highway may indicate any public road or canal. But, in some countries, the word highway is not generally used at all.
A road is a strip of land, paved, smoothed, or otherwise organized to let easy travel, connecting two or more destinations. Few roads are streets, mainly in urban areas. In the milieu of railways (railroads in American English), a road is a single pathway, which may be part of a multi-track system or could be an isolated line. In the milieu of sea transport, a road is an anchorage to travel.

Adult Halloween CostumesSpiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-62687892494121003622008-05-02T22:27:00.001-07:002010-07-20T21:55:55.866-07:00What do you mean by Water Cycle?
The water cycle—technically called as the hydrologic cycle—is the flow of water within the earth's hydrosphere, that involving changes in the physical state of water between the liquid, solid, and gas phases. Constructors are just functions with the same name as the class.
2. Constructors are intended to initialize the members of the class when an instance or the object of that class is created.
3. Constructors are not called directly (except for through initializer lists)
4. Constructors will not be virtual.
5. Multiple constructors for the similar class can be defined. They must have different parameters to differentiate them.

Halloween CostumesSpiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-14673359411199420842008-04-10T23:54:00.001-07:002010-07-20T21:56:58.982-07:00What are Diode ring mixers?
The Diode ring mixers are the original switching mixer. They have two transformers and an array of diodes in a ring. Mostly, the transformers are arranged in an order so that one signal switches the diodes to conduct in one direction, or the other direction or path. The Diode ring mixers are popular for the reason that the on/off mechanism injects less noise, and loses fewer or low signal power than other methods. It has a mass of up to 150,000 kg/m3 (150 times the density of water on Earth) and a temperature of close to 13,600,000 kelvins (by contrast, the surface of the Sun is close to 5,785 kelvins (1/2350th of the core)). Through most of the Sun's life, energy is formed by nuclear fusion through a series of steps called the p-p (proton-proton) chain; this process converts hydrogen into helium. The core is the only spot in the Sun that produces an substantial amount of heat via fusion: the rest of the star is heated by energy that is transferred outward from the core. All of the energy formed by fusion in the core must travel through many consecutive layers to the solar photosphere before it escapes into space as sunlight or kinetic energy of particles.

Halloween CostumesSpiderhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09365436516762275321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12239683.post-16365135908574794912008-03-26T22:27:00.001-07:002010-07-20T21:57:35.112-07:00What are Diode ring mixers?
The Diode ring mixers are the original switching mixer.
